FAQ
Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions. Your question is not listed? Or would you like more information? Then we are of course happy to help you at chihorsing@saliho.com! (NOTE: currently only in German!)
Is it possible to do an internship at Saliho School?
Unfortunately, we do not offer internships at the moment.
Are there other chi horsing instructors?
So far there are no other chi horsing instructors. Actually, it is not possible to obtain an official trainer’s license as a certified chi horsing instructor at the Saliho School, since chi horsing is a very individual way of handling horses and students may develop completely different approaches over time, possibly very different from what Alexandra König envisions. Chi horsing is a protected trademark on which Sandra König’s teaching method is based and which is not taught anywhere else in this form. Only Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling in Denmark represents a philosophy similar to chi horsing.
What means "Code of Honor among Horses"?
We humans adhere to certain rules of conduct among ourselves that we should never break – though we sometimes still do. For example: If we have a house, it is not allowed for just anybody to come in without asking first. Horses have even more rules among themselves (and these are always respected!); and Alexandra König calls these “behavioral rules” the code of honor. For example: If a horse says to another, “Go away!”, then there exists a certain “announcement rule”. Most humans unfortunately do not know these at all and therefore one breaks the rule of conduct of the horses. One consequence is, that a relationship in the most honest and deeper sense is not possible. The horse then perceives us humans as a species that it must constantly study and learn to read anew, because it cannot understand at all that we break these rules. This permanently creates behavior patterns in the horse, which in turn make life difficult for humans. We have no honor, or we have unlearned it, or we have never learned it. Our society has developed in a direction that as a consequence we all behave now as if we only try to survive in it as well as possible and receive acceptance. We mostly adapt to the circumstances and the horses do the same, but then with resistance.
How do I get access to the online seminars? When will the access to the online seminars end?
Once you bought an online seminar, you will receive a link with your personal password, with which you can then watch your seminars. Everything will be described in great detail using footage from Alexandra König with her horses and students with their horses (with their permission). There will be no live conference, as this may cause problems with the transmission and the seminar will otherwise be incomplete. We will address a wide range of problems. Through a basic understanding of how horses act and react, 90% of our students will know afterwards where to find the problems in their way to handle horses.
